The role of the lights of the car taillights? How to use them rationally when driving at night? (1)
Today, I'm going to talk to you about the functions of the tail lights and headlights on the car, which lights are the lights that drivers hate and like, and how to use lights reasonably at night.
Turn signal: The turn signal is the most commonly used signal light, which is turned on when the vehicle needs to turn. It should be noted that the time to turn on the turn signal should be turned on when it is about 30 meters to 100 meters away from the turning intersection, instead of turning it on after reaching the intersection, so that the following vehicles can be caught off guard and cause rear-end collision.
Headlights: There are two types of headlights: high beam and low beam. Use low beams on roads with street lights in urban areas, and use high beams when driving on roads without street lights or highways. When passing vehicles, turn off the high beams and replace them with low beams.
Flashing headlights: used as a warning or greeting. You should also flash your headlights when entering or exiting an intersection or turning to tell other vehicles "I'm coming".
Tail light (brake light): When the brake light is on, it tells the vehicle behind that it is braking and pay attention to slow down. Also be prepared to slow down when you notice the front taillights on.
Emergency signal light (double flashing): It is used in emergency situations such as temporary parking when the vehicle breaks down, and double flashing should also be turned on in bad weather with low visibility. Emergency signal lights are closely related to driving safety, and you should always check whether they are normal.
Nighttime width light (small light): used to display the width and length of the vehicle body at night. When you can't see behind you clearly from the rearview mirror, you should turn on the small lights, especially on rainy days.
